With the imminent end of winter and the approaching Spring Season it is time to turn our thoughts to the rustic charm of the Al's Nest. This years season has brought verbal committments from many and the hope that they will follow through on that promise and we get to see so many faces together at one time.
The Al's Nest Open is just that. It's Open. Anyone with a 40 Handicap or better has got a shot at the Baby Gaumer. You just gotta show up with lots of beer and snacks a willingness to laugh and leave all your stresses at home. We won't ask you if you are a garbage man, or a bean picker, or a driving range pro whose check is signed by a stripper. You qualify, you're in!
We need you. Use the website to register so that we can keep track of the headcount that we need for teetimes and who will volunteer for dinner. Breakfast and dinners are probably my favorite at the Al's Nest Open. Look forward to seeing all of you there. If you can only make it for a night or two, or the weekend portion, as long as you make it that is what is important.
The cost of this vacation is cheap. Three executive committee members have homes within 500 feet of each other and the golf courses are within 30 minutes. We golf on discount from group golfer. Make some time to prioritze fun and friends in your life.
